A little update on what has been going on this Spring and Summer with the sunrise fund!
The sunrise fund was lucky enough to receive TWO grants in the last few months.
The first grant we received in May was from The Alces Foundation for $15,000! This foundation was critical in donating to our mission after a year of not being able to do in person fundraising events. It is also the second year in a row we
have received this grant from them. We are so grateful they chose the sunrise fund as one of the organizations to support and with their funding we will be able to help many more people into recovery!
The second grant we we chosen for so far this year was from the 100 Women Who Care Cape Ann. This local organization of women get together 4 times a year to choose a non- profit organization to donate $10,000. We feel very humbled and lucky that of all the votes, the sunrise fund won the majority. We are beyond thankful for everyone who voted for our mission to help end addiction and start their journey into sobriety.
We have also started raising money for our biggest fundraising event of the year, the 2nd Annual Sunrise fund Golf Tournament! We are hoping to make this year even bigger and better than 2019!
