Elaine McKechnie
Elaine has lived in Gloucester for the past 25 years and has been involved with
several non-profit organizations on the North Shore. She understands, on a personal
level, the devastating effects addiction and mental health issues have on an
individual, their family and community. Elaine firmly believes that everyone should
have access to the vital resources necessary for their recovery, regardless of
financial status. She joined the board of The Sunrise Fund to help support this
mission. She will use her philanthropic experience and connections with other
community supporting positions to help The Sunrise Fund grow its impact.

Jackie was born in Gloucester Mass. and has lived on the North Shore for all of her life. She is the younger sister of Jillian Latham, of whom the sunrise fund was made in memory of. The reason she wanted to start the sunrise fund was to help families get the funds they need to give a struggling family member a chance at recovery.
Christian is also born and raised in Gloucester Mass and was a very close friend of Jill. Christian is a recovering addict himself and has recently celebrated his 7th year in sobriety on December 1st. He is an active member in the 12 step community and sponsors many addicts as they journey through the 12 step process.
